Moonprint is involved with over twenty schools in Gauteng now, and its schools programme is aimed at:

• Education and illustration at school assemblies and other youth events, where we take some of our ‘green bands’ along, tell and show the learners

about recycling, and have fun and waste wars! (with our national partners Enviromark, Plasfed, PSPC and others)

• Plant trees and development vegetable gardens at these schools and orphanages, also in historically disadvantaged communities and informal settlements

• Assist the various schools to establish permanent recycling facilities to also serve the surrounding suburbs and communities;

and by so-doing, creating jobs and income potential for the school.
